My First Internship Experience ๐จ๐พโ๐ป
As Mobile application developer
During my college days, I joined a very small startup named Inventors Arena. I joined there as a Mobile application developer-intern ( React Native ) and created three applications for them. This was my first internship and it was a great opportunity for my growth and learning.
First, they gave me training on React then we slowly moved into React Native territory. The goal was to develop some mobile applications for their clients.
The first application was a travel application named "Taranath Travels" which would allow users to explore travel destinations and book holiday packages swiftly and comfortably.
The second application was a quiz application named "Hawk Academe" which would allow users to take examinations, and download study materials easily.
The first application was a pharmacy application named "PharmaSathi" which would allow users to book appointments with Doctors quickly and effortlessly.
The initial months of my internship were a little challenging as I was still getting familiar with the technology. However, with the guidance of the team-Leader and colleagues, I was able to fish the project on time. One of the most crucial parts of my internship was learning how to build a responsive and scalable application, and how to write efficient code. I had to learn how to build responsive UI for ios and Android, manage state and handle multiple navigations. I used Redux Toolkit and context API for state management.
I spent 6 months there. We developed the applications as a team and I was able to learn a lot. Also, I learned about project management I actively participated in Agile daily scrum, Planning meetings, Sprint Planning, and Sprint retrospective.
In conclusion, after developing three complex applications I was very confident. I gained practical knowledge of mobile app development using React Native and learned how to work in a team environment. Overall, the experience was challenging but rewarding, and it has inspired me to continue pursuing a career in Mobile application development. And after completing this internship I got my first job in a product-based company BFC Technologies Inc as an Application Engineer (UI)
